Looking at Anna, Owen asked, “Is there someone in the room?”
Anna quickly got up and nervously chuckled, “No—it must be the cat.”
“You have a cat?”
“No, it’s our neighbor's cat. It always sneaks in whenever we leave the door open.”
Pointing towards the main door which was properly closed, he asked, “This door?”
“Did I say door?” Slapping her forehead, she chortled, “The window, the cat comes in through the window.”
Owen raised an eyebrow, resisting the urge to chuckle.
“Isn’t this the seventh floor?”
“You know cats, they can do anything. They are wild,” she chuckled. “I’ll go and check if the cat is okay.” She then quickly got up and rushed inside.
