"don't you want to know what happened to Grandpa" Kahlan finally showed a reaction, Phony smiled in satisfaction. "Hahaha! who would have thought that the old man was going to meet his demise because of his favorite granddaughter" Kahlan's eyes looked like that of a beast, Phony's heart jumped before she could say anything Kahlan held her little neck "it's all your fault you demon, why did you lie! why on Earth did you lie" Phony could not breathe, what on earth was going on... shouldn't she be the one in control "let..let..go..le..let go you b*tch" Phony struggled, trying to escape Kahlan's wicked clutch on her neck but how can her delicate over pampered self be compared to Kahlan who had lived at the country side since she was a baby. Kahlan had lost all rationality, her body radiated danger...she was like king Yama himself. Her usually attractive eyes were now bloodthirsty, grabbing a picture frame on the table by her side Phony hit it on Kahlan's hand and she let go immediately. Opening the door Phony ran with her tails in-between her legs...the Countryside fowl had gone crazy. Kahlan bent down slowly picking of the glasses off the floor with tears falling from her eyes. The picture was one she took with her grandpa, she looked so innocent and happy while the old man although stoic; one could see a hint of gentleness in his gaze. Embracing the picture and the frame, she continued picking the shattered glass pieces on the floor..."how could she do this to you, grandpa how could she break our picture" the smell of blood permeated in the air. Kahlan's fingers were bruised from picking the glass pieces yet she was unaware of the pain, the pain was nothing compared to what she was feeling inside. She didn't even have the time to clear her name and show her grandfather that Phony lied against her. Sitting on the floor with a defeated expression, Kahlan cried uncontrollably; she was heartbroken, how she wished grandpa could just appear to her to tell her that he was totally fine and that father and Phony were lieing. Meanwhile the atmosphere was different in Mr Cypher and madam Cypher's room. The room was filled with seduction and madam Cypher was lieing in his arms. They had just rolled in the sheets and were completely exhausted. "Nathan" she called gently her voice so soft like that of a mosquito, Mr Cypher immediately had a reaction down there; taking a deep breath he answered in a deep voice filled with desire "hmmm" This woman had many ways of making him go crazy. Madam Cypher smiled satisfied, this was the best time to strike... like they always say, strike when your opponent is weak "I have thought about it, Kahlan needs to be separated from that man. There is a school I know in Italy, they educate stubborn kids like Kahlan. She needs to be trained well before she can handle the shares your father transferred to her or she is going to put the company in jeopardy" Mr Cypher's eyes flashed with greed and ruthlessness, on the surface madam Cypher spoke like she was worried about Kahlan but she understood the human heart is filled with greed especially an overly ambitious man like her husband. One just need to plant the seed and leave it to the other person to nurture it in his heart and let it grow. "she doesn't know that your father is not dead" continued Madam Cypher, she paused and then raised her head to look at her husband who was silent and continued in a sweet voice "Now, when she finds out she doesn't have anyone supporting her bad behavior she would have no option but to change." Mr Cypher had planned on the way home from the hospital that he was going to tell Kahlan that her grandfather was dead so he could use the opportunity to send her back the countryside and then if his father doesn't wake up in 2 weeks time, he was going to tell the doctor to take off the life support in the name of not wanting his father to continue suffering. Then he can take over the company and handle everything alone without seeking anyone's consent but his wife's suggestion was like a wake up call, sending Kahlan far away where her movement would be restricted and finally he could receive news about her from the authorities. Humph! he snorted in his heart, that serves her right...his children had no share in the company yet that brat had a whole ten percent share to her self.
