"What did you feed me?"
Seth tried coughing it out but no matter how hard he tried it didn't come off instead, it flowed down his throat even faster.
"Relax, cousin," Luke added in a mocking tone. "It won't kill you, I just don't want your stupid dark powers getting in the way of our little sparing match."
Luke was fed up with his cousin winning every time they fought. He believed that he wasn't weaker than him in any way, the only thing that shielded him was the darkness.
The potency of Seth's powers was frightening. Month after month Luke experimented on the dark cells in his cousin's blood sample. He was finally able to make a breakthrough in temporarily neutralizing its effects for a couple of hours.
This means for the next three hours, Seth isn't the king of darkness. He's like any other vampire.
