THE CHURCH;
Ivory town's church was located in a very remote part of the kingdom. It was located on a small island surrounded by a large sea. The church was a great distance from land and it was connected to the kingdom by a stone bridge.
It was a very majestic, medieval stone church that stood tall and proud, wooden doors and colorful stained glass murals on the windows.
As they got nearer to the church, they noticed a large number of corpses. It was the corpses of dead supernatural creatures which were all over the bridge, making it impossible for them to travel using the wagon.
So, they continued their journey by foot with Viola and Mordecai leading the way.
While walking to the church, the group was extremely vigilant, watching out for any wierd creatures and making sure the children were well protected. Finally, after a nerve wrecking journey they made it to the church at last.
Viola and the team noticed a large barrier surrounding the entire church. Inside the barrier, was a large number of priests and deacons standing firmly in front of the church and mumbling prayers to God. The barrier cut the priests and deacons off completely from the outside world.
"Umm....hello?" Nigel spoke up and banged his hand against the barrier, trying to get the priests and deacons to notice him. "I don't mean to bother you or distract you from your prayers. However, we require your assistance and we were hoping to take shelter here."
Nigel was ignored again. The people inside the barrier seemed to not have noticed them at all as they were completely focused on their prayers.
"No response " Nigel turned to the group looking dispirited." I don't think they can hear me"
"Move soft boy..I've got this!" Cecelia declared, pushing Nigel and walking up to the barrier. "Listen here you little fucke- "
Cecelia never got to finish her sentence because before she could, her mouth was forcefully clamped shut by Nigel.
