At the far end of the corridor, stood giant doors which served as the entrance of the throne room. Six guards stood outside the door.
"Just six? That's rather small."
Queen Lorena whispered to her husband, King Patrick. "It could be a trap. Patrick, what do you think?."
"Trap or not ; We still have to go there."
"You're right, Let's go."
They tested their weapons one last time and made their way into the corridor. The guards saw them and attacked.
A guard pulled out his axe intending to slash the King but he couldn't land any hits because the king countered , causing both the axe and sword to collide. The collision sent the guard flying a few feet away from where King Patrick was standing.
The king quickly took advantage of this opportunity and attacked the guard who was still recovering from the earlier attack. The guard was stabbed with a sword and so he crumpled to the floor and died.
Meanwhile , Queen Lorena had already taken care of the five remaining guards. She shot four of them with her pistols and her aim was absolutely perfect because she got them all.
Well... almost all the guards ; When she wanted to shoot the fifth one , she ran out of bullets.
So , when the last guard ran towards her ; wielding his sword, she was prepared to fight him. The guard slashed his sword towards her but she dodged it and hit him on the head with the butt of her pistol.
The guard sprawled out on the floor with blood gushing out of the injury on his head . He tried to stand up but was suddenly impaled by a sword. It was King Patrick who pushed the sword into the guard's stomach thereby ending the guard's life .
