PART 1: NORMALITY
? "Keith graduated high school last month being 17 entering 18, It was summer vacation and all he's going to do was stay inside play games and catch up to every series he couldn't watch while studying."
Keith was a weird young man for talking to himself like this, but he doesn't mind it actually he embraced it because it helped him a lot learning the language.
KEITH "I'm not leaving the house for the rest of the summer vaca---"
Getting startled by his phone's vibration Keith takes it out of his pocket to see what triggered it, it was a video call from Violet a classmate of Keith's and a close friend to him.
She was tall and very pretty, with long black hair, big gray eyes with slim eyebrows that looked drawn onto her face, long eye lashes, a small nose and a mouth curved into a smirk, her face was round and her figure was elegant.
VIOLET "So what are you going to do for the rest of the vacation?"
Keith could see his reflection from the corner of the screen, he had short black hair with black thick eyebrows and hazel eyes, he always looked tired with his narrowed eyes and dark circles underneath, his face was neither squared nor round it was in between he wasn't that tall of a guy and was pretty skinny.
KEITH "Not much, I think you could guess."
VIOLET "Staying inside mastering the art of playing video games?"
KEITH "Ding! Ding! Ding! what about you?"
VIOLET "Probably the same thing with you."
Keith and Violet knew each other way before they were classmates, they met online a few years back and quickly became friends. They shared all their hobbies so it was already decided that they will spend all their free time together, technically.
VIOLET "Listen, isn't your birthday coming up soon?"
KEITH "Yeah it is, why are you asking?"
VIOLET "How about we go out together with some friends to celebrate?"
KEITH "Doesn't sound that half bad I guess, alright where are we going?"

PART 2: VACATION
It's Keith's birthday today, him and his friends decided to gather and go somewhere to celebrate him turning 18.
They went to a big popular mall, it probably had everything they needed to put a party together, and trusting that they entered and the group of six people split into groups.
MAX "Me and Chloe will go look for a cake."
CHLOE "And if we didn't find cake, we'll get something else sweet, is that alright?"
KEITH "Yeah, I'm fine with that."
ROBERT "Kyle and I will get some snacks and drinks."
KYLE "Maybe some balloons and decorations or something too."
KEITH "Come on, I'm not a child."
VIOLET "Settle down, you just turned into a legal adult today you can have this."
KEITH "It's still a no."
VIOLET "Hahaha, well that leaves me and party boy, we'll take a look around the shops to see if likes anything."
KEITH "Well let's go."
After that everyone went on their own ways after exchanging smiles.
Keith and Violet took a walk around the stores talking about whatever is on their mind.
KEITH "By the way, thank you for this Violet."
VIOLET "Oh don't be, you literally did the same for me in my birthday I'm just repaying you."
KEITH "Just say welcome and take my gratitude."
VIOLET "Sorry, sorry I'm not good with compliments."
KEITH "I know neither am I."
Continuing on their walk having fun conversations, they had no idea to what will happen next.

PART 3: TURNING POINT
Taking a break from walking, Keith and Violet sat down by a café ordering coffee and waiting for the others to arrive.
KEITH "I hope they don't take long to come."
VIOLET "I will call if th--"
Violet's words were cut short by the sound of sirens and helicopters from all around them, and most the people that were walking by were starting to panic.
KEITH "What is going on?"
As if to answer his question all the screens and displays around the two suddenly changed into what looked like a news report with the words "NUCLEAR THREAT" flashing and a man explaining what to do in this situation.
Keith and Violet obviously shocked looked at each other as if asking if this was some kind of sick joke, but they didn't say a word.
The people around went from panic to chaos in the span of seconds, and both friends knew that they were in deep trouble.
KEITH "Let's run to a safer place."
VIOLET "O-okay."
Keith trying with all his might to stay calm held his hand out towards Violet and as soon as she took it, he pulled her and ran.
The safest place to be in when there is a nuclear bomb nearby is underground, so Keith headed straight to the underground parking lot, as soon as they were there, they stopped to take a breather, but Keith heard a lot of sounds coming at them he turned around to find people wearing something like war uniforms storming the place scared, Keith takes Violet's hand and runs again but without any success.
They are totally cornered, with nothing else to do Keith runs at one of the soldiers but gets quickly hit in the stomach and instantly loses consciousness.
