School dismissed and Rina decided to stay longer this time.
She sat at the stairs as she listened to music from her EarPods reading a novel.
"Dude shut up" Mg said to Gg as the four of them walked together.
Davis on his phone, mg and Gg discussing and Karl walking quietly with both hands in his jacket's pockets.
Karl held his patience as Gg and Mg made their noise as usual, when he sighted Rina sitting on the stairway.
He left the boys and walked to were she sat, mg and Gg not noticing that Karl had left kept on bickering. Only Davis saw that Karl had gone to Rina.
Rina sang quietly turning the page of the novel she held when she felt the left ear pod leaving her ear.
She turned to her left and saw Karl putting it in his ear.
"I see you do miss it" she said
"How can I miss it when it's in your hands" he said listening to the music.
"Do you know it?" She asked
"Yeah I do"
Rina smiled and continued reading singing a little.
"How do you know all the lyrics to these songs when you don't even listen to them" he asked looking at her
"Who said I don't listen to them?"
"I never see you listen to music"
"That's because I listen to them at home and not in school"
Karl nodded, and then the song changed, it seems to be another one Karl knew and seeing the way she sang it, he knew she loved this song.

"So you decided to go game late today" Karl asked.
"Mhm"
"Why so?"
"No reason"
"I will be there by six" he reminded her
Oh shoot! She forgot he was to come to her house today, no no no!
"Are you seriously coming?"
"You thought I was joking?"
"Please don't come" she pleaded
"Why shouldn't I?"
"I don't know, I will come to your house, how about that?"
"I am coming to your house Rina"
"Fine, do whatever you want, I live at...I will send you the address" she said and faced her book.
Karl listened to the song as she sang it with her sweet and lovely voice.
He couldn't understand how she listened to music, sang it and still read at the same time, this girl was mysterious.
"Cause you're all mine

This would a crime scene
And I would be the one to fail....."
The three boys watched as Karl looked at Rina sing lost away in his world.
"Dude he's falling for the girl"Gg said
"I don't think so" mg said
"You're jealous" Davis said quietly still on his phone.
"No am not, am just saying Karl wouldn't fall for anyone, forget he is go freeing and friendly..."
"No he's not"Gg objected
"He is"
"Karl isn't friendly"
"How do you know that?"
"Pfft I have been friends with him before you guys" Gg said proudly
"He is right" Davis said
"No he is not, Karl is just being friendly with her nothing less or much" mg said
"I get what you said Davis, he's being jealous"
"Am not jealous, okay I get it that I was attracted to her but not anymore" mg said
"Okay, I will keep that for now" Gg said with doubts.
"Come on, I... there's no use talking to you guys" Mg said and left.
Rina looked at Karl and noticed the way he looked at her. She felt really shy at this moment.
"Wh-why are you looking at me that way?"
"Nothing just go on" he said
"Am I beautiful?" She decided to be naughty
Karl was speechless at her sudden question.
"Tell me" she added
"Why do ask?"
"Nothing just want to know" she shifted near him
"Tell me in my ear" she said
"Is she flirting with Karl?" Gg said he seems to be interested in them. Davis looks at them raising his head up for the first time now.
"She is good" Davis said smiling half way.
"I should tell you in your ear?" He asked
"Yes"
"Alright" he said Before bending his head down to her ear, Rina could feel his breath on her ear.
Okay, this feels intimate now, she regret saying that now.
"You're so beautiful" Karl whispered.
Rina didn't know why but she loved when Karl said that to her. She remained silent wanting to hear more.
"And, I love the way you smile" he continued.
No, she loved the way he smiled, and his dimples, ugh she fell in love with those wanting to peck him on the cheek.
"That's all?" She asked.
Okay didn't they care people were around?
I mean people walked out of the school going home, and they didn't worry about people seeing and gossiping.
Karl was quiet for a moment before he spoke.
"And...." Karl was hesitant.
"I want to kiss you bad" he whispered to her unknowingly.
Rina paused for a second, did she hear properly?
She turned to look at him and at that point she regretted turning. She forgot Karl was so close to her that if she turned around their faces would be close to each other.
"Davis give your phone a break and come watch this, they are so close" Gg told Davis enjoying the scene
"Does he wants to kiss her?" Davis asked
"No man, he is telling her something in the ear"
Davis narrowed his eyes
"That doesn't seem like it"
"Shut up" Gg decided not to waste his energy trying to talk to Davis.
Rina looked at Karl, it wasn't the first time they were close but not as close as this, this was different.
The music they both listened came to pause in their heads but not in reality.
"What did you say?" She asked him slowly
"I want to...." it was at that moment he knew what he had just told her.
"Kiss me?" She asked
"No no" he leaned back increasing the gap between them.
"I meant something else" he tried to cover up.
"Like what?"
"Like em....."
"Hey guyyyyyssss!" Karl felt relieved that Gg had to come at this time.
Rina looked up and saw Davis and Gg.
"Hi" she said
She hoped they didn't see what just happened, she prayed.
"Sooo Rina why haven't you gone yet?" Gg asked
"We're going together" Karl said before Rina could speak.
Gg raised his eyebrows in hearing Karl.
"Is that true?" Davis asked
Rina hesitated before nodding.
"Come on" Karl stood up and held his hand out for Rina to stand up.
She held his hand and with his help he stood up.
"Thank you" she said.
"Okay so Karl you've abandoned us now" Gg said.
"Move" he said as he and Rina walked away.
"Awwn they look so cute together" the two boys hear someone speak behind them, turning, they saw Flora.
"Hey" Gg smiled
"Hey, wanna go for a walk?" Flora said
Gg looked at Davis before going with Flora leaving Davis.
