Malfoy Ancestral Manor
Lucius Malfoy was in jubilant mood today as his son Draco is now 10 years old as of today, and according to the traditions of Pure-Blood Houses is also when lord of the house can recognise their child as the 'Heir' and future "Lord of the House".
He has already completed all the formalities that's required for the inheritance for "House Malfoy" and they just need to visit gringotts to finalize the last document verification by both those nasty goblins and ministry personnel to finalize the whole procedure. But it's not the 'House Malfoy' heirship he's so happy about since it was always meant to be Draco's right being the only child, no it was the Heirship of "House BLACK" he was so happy about. All those manipulations and scheming all those years ago finally going to be bear the fruits and The Noble and Most Ancient House of Black would be his.
He can't hide his smug expression because after decades of planning and conspiring would make him one of the most powerful man in Magical Britain with the backing of House Black along with other minor house who's all under both magical and life debt to him like Crabbe and Goyle houses. House Malfoy is already one of the major house being part of 'Sacred Twenty Eight' but House Black is another monster altogether. Not only it's one of the most ancient house with relations to almost all the major Houses from 'Sacred Twenty Eight', along with being the richest one of all, from numerous properties & business all over Europe and State, hundreds of millions in money alone (both galleons and muggle currency), ancient tomes and knowledge hidden away but also got the most political power and say in 'Wizengamot'.
Only he knows how much he have to sacrifice for this, his father Abraxas Malfoy was ambitious and cunning man but he was not ruthless enough, also the same cause which lead to his death. Abraxas was never a leader but a follower who always chose the winning side to acquire maximum profit for himself. And if his chosen side is losing he'll be the first person to jump to winning side by bribing and manipulation because in front of benefits dark side or white side are all the same. But to the 'Dark Lord' either you're on his side or six feet under; there's no other way you can't defy him, you can't beat him, you can't betray him, you'll be never equal to him, the only option was to be follower and earn some profit in between. Abraxas was too late to realise this, and so he died one day just going to diagonal alley killed by a nobody criminal who's put to Azkaban for life through trial, but just died before ever stepping there by suicide. To anyone else it was just a misfortune incident where Father was just unlucky got in between since according to trial the culprit wasn't even targetting him but just so accidentally hit him with killing curse. But I knew from the beginning it was all Dark lord manipulation behind the scene, and even though I knew like many other among the fellow 'Death Eaters' who also so coincidentally faced same situations but no was foolish enough to face the Dark lord, so I took the only option and became follower to at least earn some profit in misfortune. Unlike Father I put efforts to became someone who Dark lord can trust, basically his "DOG" who bites whoever he wants to. To other it will be shameful and deteriorating but to me it was all about survival.
Time changes everything, I only realised this later on but I started enjoying this life 'to torture', 'to rape', 'to murder' with no consequence. Thought Lucius with an ecstatic and crazed expression reminiscing the past. And when I finally gain enough trust was the time I started earning back, powerful spells & knowledge to counter any spells and methods that can use by Aurors and ministry to criminalise someone, dark rituals to increase magic capacity and the one of the most important ritual that helped him the most. That ritual no it should be considered a curse made "Narcissa Black" to fall for him so hard she can't survive without him. Any ordinary spell or love potions wouldn't even effect someone from Black Family with various protection and precautions they're surrounded with, especially Narcissa his dear sweet gullible wife who was once a clever witch. But this ritual was a slow acting curse which in few years time started affecting the person with no trace of any magic that could be identified. The end result before even graduation she was so infatuated and maddening in love with him the Black family got no other option but to betrothed her to him.
The Dark lord infatuation with House Black was especially intense, but even he can't directly make enemy out of them. So he did what he is best at, slowly but steadily he removed them one by one either by killing them or manipulated them to be kicked out of the house.
On male side Arcturus dead, Pollux dead, Orion dead, Cygnus dead, Sirius kicked out of house ( by slowly turning him against his own family), Regulus dead (even after joining his side), all other of senior and junior generation dead.
On female line Dorea Potter née black dead, Cedrella Weasley née Black (kicked out for marrying blood traitor Weasley), Callidora Longbottom née Black dead and other senior Black female line just died for some reason or another, on the younger generation: Andromeda kicked out of the family(for wanting to marry a muggle) , Narcissa married in to House Malfoy (becaming hostage to me and in further effect his) and Bellatrix the most gifted one in many generations of House Black became his 'Bitch' how he turned someone like her is a question nobody knows answer of.
And just like that in two decades the once mighty Black Family left with no male heir to inherit the family, and on female line only Bellatrix remains who was just an empty husk of psychopath who'll dance to any tune the dark lord plays. To many waiting decades to control a single family seems kind of pointless when you're strong enough to kill the whole family in single day But it was an impressive move to who really understand the noble house magic and legacy inheritance, any forceful control would not have allowed the Black's Family magic to inherit their legacy to one without being related by blood of Black's on the contrary he'll killed on the spot even if he's Dark lord or mighty Merlin himself. And the Dark lord got all the time in the world to play house with these ignorant fools.
Or that's what everyone of us thought but just one day he died, killed by a fuc**ng baby merely a year old. And just like loose sand the whole castle fell, without him all these bigoted idiots Death Eaters were like headless chicken not knowing what to do. Even I was left laughing hysterically like a madman "The mighty Dark Lord Voldemort, murder of hundreds, torturer of thousands, a dark wizard so powerful and evil that people are afraid to even call him by name and he just died due to a baby few months old whose 'superpower' is to suck on his mother breasts and crawl on all four, a toddler for Merlin sake killed a dark wizard so powerful that was supposed to rule whole Europe or even whole world, But nope he died just like that."
The last few years were gone in bribing in and out those in wizengamot and Ministry personnel and I was able to save myself and many idiots along with gaining their loyalty to House Malfoy in the Name of Dark Lord who's supposedly hiding for a while formulating another plan to take over magical Britain. Truthfully even I was hopeful that somehow or anyhow it's true But after 9 years I got no hope left. And this is a golden opportunity to me since only appart heir to House Black is Draco being son of Narcissa Malfoy née Black. Him being Minor I would be able to get all the control of House Black being his father and Magical Guardian until he's of Age Seventeen. Enough time for me to take control of all the gringotts vaults, estates and businesses under Malfoy name and control.
Exiting his office he found his 'dear wife' and child in main hall, a kid eight year old with blond hair and silver/greyish eyes listening attentively to his mother preaching and ingraining him how he has to follow his father and his every command as he orders without any complaint, a daily routine indoctrination process Draco have to follow for every day of his life about his father/Lord, "Comply to all his orders, never question, and being loyal to only and only him not even his mother" again and again that it's ingrained in his mind to never ever betray him. And his 'faithful' wife' is more then happy to comply to mind manipulate her only child to please him.
Just as he entered the main hall, both Narcissa and Draco stood hearing the sound of footsteps one with adoration and complete infatuation expression, completely forgetting her child and one watching how when a servant sees his master suddenly appears do unlike what a child when he sees his dad do.
Lucius stood there examining his 'lovely family' and commanded
"Come Draco it's time"
