Today is April Fool's Day.

It was perfect day to do something that you have no confidence with and say that it was just a joke after it fails.

[Goddess Grizel : Yow, Dylan. Be my boyfriend?]

There was a long pause.

[Boring Dylan : No.]

[Goddess Grizel : I refuse to accept you rejection. Starting today you're my boyfriend!]

[Boring Dylan : .....for real? Stop the pranks, Griz.]

[Goddess Grizel : I'm going to beat you up if you complain again, bastard. I'm now you boss and I refuse to accept complaints!]

[Goddess Grizel : *girlfriend]

[Boring Dylan : Noted]

Dylan stared at his phone and turned it's power off, in case Grizel contacted him again. He had romantically(?) liked Grizel for a long time now... probably? Actually, he wanted to court her himself but was afraid that he would just beat him up for his 'absurdity'.

It wouldn't matter if he would just be beaten up since he had trained before and have a stronger endurance. He can still bear it even the time when he managed to piss off Grizel for real, resulting her attacks in becoming ferocious, it was even contained with a leaking bloodlust.

He knew for sure that time that he fucked up.

He knew for sure that time that she wanted him dead.

But after calming down and venting, they acted as if nothing happened. No, it seems that Grizel had long forgotten that incident.

Back to the topic, the worse scenario is that he would be ignored by Grizel and had their friendship with her cut off. Well if the toxicity that they have is friendship. No, he can't afford to lose that. It was also due to the fact that by staying at her side for a long time, he knew how heartless she can be.

There was almost a hundred percent possibility that she would forget the attachment they shared in their years of friendship and lost the care that she granted him as long as she had been indifferent to his existence long enough.

Heck, she even forgets most of the time that she has a father as Grizel's mother warned her not to contact him. As the lack of contact lasts, so as Grizel's lack of emotion towards the other party.

So the danger that Dylan might be under Grizel's indifference was a huge deal.

It contains the danger of him being erased from her small world.

Now, he only needs to act accordingly tomorrow and whether what Grizel said was the real deal or would just be deemed as a mere prank would be due to his performance.

He may looked overconfident with that but it wasn't the first time Grizel made a 'big move' during April Fool's.

Last year, Grizel broadcasted to the whole school that she her dream was to see the dick of Lukas, that year's school crush.

Although a bit crazy, most of the response was positive and everyone thought it was funny. The same would probably not happen if the speaker was shy or nervous, unlike Grizel who was basically shouting with confidence.

Too bad, that didn't happen as Grizel claimed that it was just a joke for April Fool's. Dylan knew she that it was true that she lied when she said that it was her dream but also knew that she wasn't against seeing 'it'.

Grizel just felt that it was boring when she saw the audience overrated response.

Grizel took a deep breath and waited for at least three minutes before shutting down her phone. She was afraid that Dylan would change his last reply.

After all, it wasn't the first time that she thought that she was in an actual relationship with someone yet when the other party was asked he said that he was just kidding! To think that they're flirting even last for almost two months.

As Grizel had always been petty, she definitely got her revenge.

It's a perfect day for doing things you are afraid of others rejecting but still wanted to try deep down. In that way, you will obtain the perfect excuse-- 'Just kidding, Happy April Fool's dudes!'.

"Well, if we really pull it off..... it's a perfect day for anniversary."

In that way, if they ever had enough of each other, the other party can use this day to announce their break up. Too bad or maybe not if they agreed but if you guys still want to be with each other then a perfect excuse is here to cover up your probing--- 'Just kidding, Love. Don't take it seriously, Happy April Fool's. Look, I even prepared your favorite flower and chocolate.'

"I mean... we always need a back up plan, right."

Meet Grizel Cereno. It wasn't even confirmed that she and Dylan will go out, she's already planning their smooth break up. Grizel is the type of person who feels uncomfortable unless she's in control of her own choices and has plenty, as in plenty of back up plans and excuses to back off once the remaining choices don't fit her preference.
