Chapter 31 - Chapter 31

A few days later ...

"I want it," Alyssa said.

Petra smiled at the girl's words, she was relieved that Alysa was not angry with her when she asked Alysa to appear in the position that the girl had just mourned.

What Petra is afraid of is not rejection from Alysa but anger from the girl. Alysa returned to where Zahra was waiting. Her friend asked what Alysa was talking about with Petra casually, the girl replied that she accepted Petra's offer for a gig the day after tomorrow.

Zahra who heard this was shocked. How can the man invite Alysa to perform in a state where she has just been grieving. Zahra was ready to follow Petra and scold the man, but Alysa was holding it.

"I'm the one who wants it, zar, previously Petra wouldn't be there because I understand my situation, I'm the only one who wants to take the offer. So it's okay zar I'm fine," said alysa who held Zahra.

Zahra still felt annoyed at Petra but the girl grabbed Zahra's arm to go straight home.

At the cafe, Dirham had just finished his work. It is now 10 pm and he plans to just go home because he is very tired from work. The man can't wait for his day off from work, even though he doesn't have a day off as a live music performer.

But at least there is a day where the man can meet Alysa every week. Dirham grabbed his cell phone which he kept in his bag. He started to open whatsapp. The man plans to contact Alysa but he has received an incoming call from Bi Lilis.

"Den, I'm going to the rented house," said bi lilis into her phone.

The man rushed home to meet Bi Lilis, he was afraid that something would happen to the woman considering the very nature of her parents who were very heartless. Arriving at the rented car was seen parked. Sure enough the woman met Bi Lilis. When the man entered he saw that his mother was sitting.

The man asks what his mother needs so that her mother can spend her busy time in an inappropriate place for her.

"Sit down, honey. I want to talk to you," said the woman who returned a cynical smile by Dirham.

"I know who you are close to, so if you want the woman to be fine, you have to go home. You have to stay home and be the successor to mom and dad's business, understand?" said the woman.

The man smirked. Why did he return to a house that is not actually a home, that house is a place to return to, not a place of war. The man really didn't want to think of him as his father.

The man very respectfully ordered his mother to immediately leave his rented apartment and not to interfere with the man's life again. With a face filled with anger, the woman came out of the Dirham's rental. Bi lilis calmed the man who seemed already stressed.

"Be patient, den, Auntie is sure that Aden can get through all this. Den dirhams are strong men," said the woman, which made Dirham a little relieved.

The man remembered that he would contact Alysa. Dirham excused himself for a moment to contact the girl, the boy called Alysa but there was no response from the girl, Dirham tried many times but the girl didn't pick up. The man thought that the girl was angry because she had no news for the past few days, so Alysa did not pick up calls from Dirham.

The boy was planning to visit the girl tomorrow night. Just as the man entered the room suddenly a notification from Zahra stopped his steps to rest.

Zahra :

Where have you been Ham, Alysa is waiting for your news.

The man frowned, if it was true that the girl was waiting to hear from him why the call from him was not picked up instead it was ignored even the man called Alysa several times.

"What happened?" His mind asked.

The man thought for a moment. He immediately took a jacket and went to the girl's house, the man used a motorcycle taxi that was around there. Actually, the man was very tired and wanted to rest, but if it was related to Alysa, the woman he loved so much, he was willing to sacrifice his sleepiness.

The man stopped by the cake place first to give it to Alysa at the same time he also wanted to tell the girl that he was now working. The man arrived at Alysa's house about 45 minutes away, the man knocked on the door but no one opened it. He kept knocking until the door finally opened and the girl opened it.

Surprise! Shouted the man with joy because he could see the girl again. The man was about to hug the girl in front of him, but Alysa dodged which made Dirham wonder.

Surprise! Shouted the man with joy because he could see the girl again. The man was about to hug the girl in front of him, but Alysa dodged which made Dirham wonder.

"Why?" asked the man.

Alysa left her house and walked towards the park. The boy was getting more and more confused by the girl's attitude. Didn't say anything, just kept silent, the man followed Alysa from behind.

"Where have you been?" Asked the girl who still had her back to Alysa. The man explained that his cellphone was broken and could not contact Alysa.

"Can't you come to my house? You usually go straight to my house without telling me, where have you been, Ham?" asked the girl in a slightly emotional tone.

"What's wrong with you? What's important is that I'm here, right?" Reply the Dirham with the same emotion.

The girl came closer, now she took the boy's hand and kept it on the girl's face.

"Ham, you know the face of the woman you're holding now for the past 2 days, crying doesn't stop. And you know this weak woman needed you yesterday but you weren't there, so what should I do?" The girl said which made Dirham even more confused.

The man asked Alysa to explain everything in detail so that the man would not guess.

"Mama's gone, forever," the girl whispered back to tears.

The man did not believe the words of the girl in front of him, Dirham repeatedly understood the girl's words.

"Don't be joking Sa, it's not funny," said Dirham still in a tone of disbelief.

The girl wiped her tears violently, "You think something like this can be made up of Ham? Can you? No. Mama went and was buried yesterday and you didn't show up at all. Where have you been, Ham? Where?" Alysa said along with her sobs.

The man immediately sat on the lawn chair. Digest the words of the girl in front of him. I really can't believe what Alysa said is true. Dirham, the man didn't know what to do. He felt useless, he felt very guilty. The reason is that he wasn't there when the girl needed him, even with the arrogance of the man's forehead coming like before.

The question is ... Who is the real Dirham?
