"Your Grace. Weren't you already asleep?" Gemi asked, surprised to find Chantria sitting at her desk.
Chantria glanced over her shoulder, her lips stretched into a rare smile, one Gemi noted she had begun to see more often in these days, so unlike how Chantria had been.
Though it was still a sight reserved only for those she trusted. It was humbling to Gemi, that Saint Chantria visibly expressed her trust and gratitude for Gemi this time around.
'Did the loss of memory and a death experience change people so completely?' Gemi wondered, and not for the first time.
Gemi had entertained this same wonder many times before this, since Chantria had returned from the dead.
