It was early morning when the training finally began. I was so excited about it that I was super energetic, it was like I was high on sugar. We went to the forest clearing just north from where our massive cave like den was and I must say... it was huge! I'm not even talking about the inside either... that's a whole other area that's even more amazing. Inside our den like cave if you go pretty deep down you'll find a lake that's a beautiful glowing bright blue. My guess is that the chakra that's infused with the water is what's making it glow really pretty. That's not even the coolest part, if you go west from where the lake is you'll find chakra infused crystals of all sorts of colors. It's truly a breath taking view, it's my favorite place to go when we aren't doing anything. It's an odd place though only because I get this weird feeling like I'm supposed to be doing something but I'm unsure of what? Anyway back to the forest clearing.
Kurama: "Are you ready to start your training Leon!"
Leon: "Ready as I'll ever be dad!"
Kurama gave a little bit of a smirk before he started to get serious.
Kurama: "Before we begin, I'm going to explain what we're going to be doing today. First we are going to train you're senses, that includes smell, sight, hearing, touch, and sensing what's around you by feeling the chakra in the air which will be last. now for starters, I want you to try to listen to everything around you in one go, it might take a little bit to do but you should get it in no time."
I position myself to a sitting posture and tried to focuse on what's around me with just my hearing. Unfortunately it was a little difficult to adjust the range of my hearing, it's like trying to tune a radio to a station without static but instead of static it's just a bunch of noise cluttered together. It was giving me a really terrible headache but I didn't want to let Kurama down so I kept giving it my all.
Kurama: "It's okay Leon, you can do it. Just relax, the most important thing right now is to be patient. Let yourself slowly adapt to the sounds, if you're to impatient and try to hurry, you'll bust you're hearing completely. So take as much time as needed."
Leon: 'So patience is key to this training regime.' "Okay dad I'll keep trying but with patience."
Kurama gave a proud look and decided to meditate while waiting for Leon to complete his first sense. As Kurama was doing his own thing, Leon started to get a hang of his hearing sense with the help from Kurama.
Leon: "Now that I know that patience is the key, every training for my senses should be a breeze."
After 5 hours of adjusting and unadjusting to sounds, Leon finally got the hang of his hearing sense. It took Leon 2 hours before Kurama spoke up and gave advice so it took 7 hours in total. It was around mid afternoon when Leon started his next sense which was sight. He did the same thing with hearing but instead of a radio it was more like binoculars. Leon completed this sense in a total of 4 hours. Leon started his next sense around early evening which was now smell. This didn't take him long to do, he just kept sniffing like he was smelling a flower. Out of all the senses so far this one was the easiest and was completed in 2 hours.
Kurama: "Okay, It's starting to get dark, so it's time to go back home."
Leon: "Why can't we continue?"
Kurama: "There are hidden dangers at night especially for you. I don't want to take the chance that they find you. It's fine if they find me but not you!"
Leon: "Who's they?"
Kurama: "Ninjas. Those pesky humans have been after my kind for awhile now, they somehow got our location and has been hunting us ever since. I've been moving from place to place till I got here. Once I settled here, you were made 3 days after."
Leon: "I see, so are you still being hunted and do we still have to move?"
Kurama: "Yes we still have to move but not for a few days still. We will always be hunted. Remember that as long as we remain free, we will always be hunted down."
After Kurama said that, I felt a shiver that went down my whole body. The next day we woke up really early and started my senses training again. My next senses training was touch which I thought was kinda odd till Kurama explained why we touch was an important sense to have. He explained that touch will tell you about life, so when he told me to place my paw on the ground and to feel the area underneath. Hetold me to concentrate on what I felt... and I was stunned! I could feel it instantly, the life force of all the flowers, grass, and tree's. It took me about 5 minutes to feel everything around me, it was amazing. I never felt anything like it, it was like vibrations that turned into images that glowed a faint green. It was beautiful!
Now that all my senses training was complete, it was time for me to feel the chakra all around me. This was supposed to be the hardest training to be done with the senses. Kurama said that I have to use all my senses while meditating to feel the chakra. So I practiced non stop for 5 days straight, till Kurama came to me and said "It's time to move now, we've stayed in one place for to long. It's time to find a new home." Honesty, I was going to miss this place but I know for sure that I don't want to get captured by the ninjas that Kurama was telling me about. I never realized till now that I've grown quite big when we left the cave den. I was almost the same size as Kurama which was a shock since he's pretty big.
I believe that it's been 7 days since I've been training and now that I'm out in the open instead of in our past home, I've seen some huge effect from the training. I can feel, see, and hear everything. I've even started feeling a slight amount of chakra around me, it's like a dome is covering me with a bunch of water inside. It's really cool but for some reason it makes my fur stand up? Anyway we started west and have been walking and running for 17 hours straight till we finally found our new home. They're were a bunch of tree's surrounding the area with a pretty big opening unfortunately we made it there by night time so it was really dark inside. It didn't have any crystals or lakes to light up the area which was unfortunate since they were really pretty. Since Kurama made this our home, Kurama decided to go to sleep while I decided to keep meditating. It has now officially been 9 days since I was given life here. I'm almost a full adult now plus I finally completed my last training session. It took a long time but I DID IT! I wonder if I can relax and take a break now.
Unfortunately Kurama had different plans for today.
Leon: 'Ugh I'm dying inside, I just want a break.'
Kurama: "Leon, you know I can hear youre thoughts right."
Leon: "Wait seriously!"
Kurama: "Yes seriously, are you ready for you're next training session?"
Leon: "Haaah, yeah I'm ready." (crying face)
Kurama gave an amused smile and chuckled a little. Then he got really serious.
Kurama: "Now you're going to learn about attacking, defending, and dodging against an enemy. By enemy, I mean me."
Leon: "Well fuck, I'm screwed!" (crying face)
Kurama just laughed it off and said "Every chakra being has they're own style for attacking, defending, and dodging. Once you get attacked, you're natural defending, dodging, or attacking instinct will kick in on they're own but it's usually good to have control over them before you turn into a full adult which is one day away, so we'll be working in overdrive today to control you're actions."
Leon: "Okay I'm ready to learn and get control over them."
Kurama: "Good. Get ready because here I come!"
