Ariel glanced at the floor, uncomfortable. She had no idea what to say. How was she going to answer Y. K's question?
She looked up at him and saw him looking at her expectantly, waiting for a response. She doesn't know what to say. Should she lie? Or just tell him the truth?
"Ariel, you haven't answered my question. I asked you why Marie was giving you food. I thought you said you were staying at your family friend's place?" Y. K asked, staring at her.
"Yes, I'm staying at my family friend's place, I didn't lie to you about that. Marie's mother is a friend of my mother so they are my family's friend, " Ariel answered, staring at him straight in the eye.
Y. K looked at her surprised, not able to say a word. She was staying with Marie? If she was staying with Marie that means that she was also staying with Adrian.
