Ariel pushed aside the thought that Marie was conservative, she thought her new friend just needed someone who would press her for more information, she found some similarities between them, anytime she was down or depressed even when people asked what was wrong with her she was always of fond of telling them it was nothing and she was fine.
The main reason she treasured Debby was not only because she was the only sibling who cares about her but for the fact that though she denies to be fine and okay most of the times yet Debby does not believe this and would press her for more information u til she learnt to open up to her, from their conversations it occurred to her that Marie could have that trait in her.
