Poppy's nervous green eyes locked with my calm brown. Her dark, wavy hair was in a loose bun, stopping at her shoulders. She wore an emerald green floor length, off-the-shoulder dress and black heels.
Wow.
"You guys look amazing," I said as Sarah leaned in for a hug.
"You don't look so bad yourself colin. I was right about the haircut," Sarah said giving me a thorough inspection. "If I wasn't dating Dan, I would have snatched you up myself."
I heard that. Dan appeared at my side. "Wow, Sarah. You look…wow." He was lost for words and was looking at her like a love sick puppy.
"Get a room you two," Lucy groaned. Dan's lips quirk up in response before turning to Sarah again.
"You're just jealous," Sarah stuck out her tongue at Lucy who smacked her arm playfully with an exasperatedly fond eye roll.
"You guys did a great job Sarah," I said as I looked at the decorations. "This is a beautiful set up."
