Ashley kept mute after the principal had spoken, Lancelot had expected her to confess since they had caught her red-handed but she didn't, his blood began to boil because she was the reason Anna was hurt, he suddenly felt like hitting her but kept his cool.
"I don't believe any of this is happening to me." Ashley said flatly.
Jake scoffed, Anna was a good friend of hers and though the doctor had assured them Anna was out of harm's way it still hurt him to see her lying on the bed with blood oozing from her forehead and the doctors having to stitch it, Ashley looked like she would burst into tears at any time and this irritated him.
