Anna seems frustrated by Jake's behavior, one moment he was happily inviting her to his birthday party and the next he's thinking off calling it off because Opal isn't interested in attending, it was good he liked her but his stubborness was annoying Anna, the whole day, Jake sulked and wouldn't tell anyone what was wrong with him even as Anna bade him farewell, he didn't give her the usual flirtatious smile he put on his face when leaving.
His mood was as a result of Opal's decision, Anna knew she had no one to confide in over the matter here in her new school, involving Lancelot would only complicate matters so she decided to seek for help from her lifelong best friend, Anna got home and quickly charged her phone so she could call her best friend; Mara.
Mara picked the call at the third ring.
"Hello." Mara said into the phone.
"Girlfriend!" Anna squealed.
"Anna?" Mara said.
"Girl!"
"Oh my God! Anna it really is you."
