Harriet jumped down from Russel's back.
The front of the Castle's door was filled with refugees and civilians trying to help each other. She breathed a long sigh. She looked at everyone who followed her back to the Castle and said,
"Go and help anyone who needs it. I need... to see my mother."
The Lycan guards who followed her nodded. And Orcenal, who followed her on foot, looked at her with complicated eyes.
"I shouldn't have left her and the babies alone," he said.
Harriet shook her head. She knew it was not her father's fault. It was she who overlooked this potential danger... that someone who was already inside the city could infiltrate the Castle with Sorcery.
With the Lycan's maximum guard, she couldn't believe that anyone with Sorcery would be able to infiltrate... but she was wrong.
