"Can you please leave now?" Heath asked curtly.
In front of him was his mother, Helena, and his father the Grand Duke, Eoin. They were eating breakfast calmly and did not even look at him. Instead, Helena was focused on Miriam.
"When are you planning to have babies?" the woman asked.
Miriam blushed. This mother-in-law of hers... she could only laugh in embarrassment: "I'm not sure..."
She tried to turn elsewhere and accidentally saw her husband's frown.
"Hmm," he grunted wondering why they had brought pregnancy into this conversation. His cold stare rested upon his mother's face like ice crystals floating down from a frozen lake. It made Miriam worried.
"Your sister is doing a good job. You should follow suit."
The middle-aged woman said in an equally cold voice.
Heath squinted his eyes distastefully. "What are you saying now? Just stop bothering us and leave."
