The heat was already unbearable enough, but now that the flames of our mages were scorching towards the walls of the city it was made even worse, though that wasn't something that adrenaline couldn't overcome as the beginning of this battle was kicked off.
With a surplus of oxygen to fuel their combustion, the magical fires crashed down amongst the monsters and exploded against the walls as the opening barrage traveled the distance in mere seconds, giving the cultists across from us little time at all to react.
