Jack Harden, Mac Drake, Clay Maton with the rest of the gang had arrived the warehouse waiting for the witch, grand patron at about 11:45pm.
The witch who was dressed in violet gown arrived the venue 12 midnight on the dot and proceeded to the warehouse as usual.
Meanwhile, Colonel Philip Goodman and his team who were designated for this assignment were already on ground. They parked their monitoring van some distance from the warehouse. They were monitoring the vehicular movement in and out of the warehouse. They had seen several vehicles moved into the premises of the warehouse since they arrived two hours back. They waited until 12:10am before swarming into action.
Meanwhile, in the warehouse, the witch had started his ritual. She was about asking the new recruits, about four out of twenty seven people present, to start reciting speeches when the military personnels team burst into the warehouse. You are all under arrest, the officers shouted pointing guns at them. The men surrendered immediately on seeing the military personnels with guns but the witch vanished. She reappeared in her car then drove away from the venue.
One of the officers outside the warehouse saw a woman in violet dress, driving a black Ferrari sport car out of the premises. He then notified the Colonel Philip Goodman. The colonel ordered that the car should be trailed by three of his personnels immediately. While three cars were trailing the black Ferrari sport car in the city, the men of the gang were already arrested and taken to the military base for further investigation. An helicopter was also designated to monitor the location of the black Ferrari sport car from the sky.
She was trailed and chased to the city major express way. When the witch realized she was be trailed, she increased the speed of the car to get away from the three vehicles chasing her. The three vehicles also increased their acceleration chasing after her while the military personnels in the chopper also revealing the black Ferrari sport car location if the military personnels in the three cars lost sight of the sport car.
She was chased out of the city into the forest path. She drove her car to a mountainous part of the forest and stop the car. When the three vehicles chasing her got there, they could not find her in the sport car. The personnels in the helicopter could not see the vehicle from above when she was parking because of the trees. So she escaped from her chasers the second time.
Meanwhile, the gang members arrested has been going through interrogation to ascertain their involvement in the witch plan of disrupting the king's government and to get a clue to the witch location and weakness. They denied having any involvement in over throwing the king's government. They claimed they were not aware of such plan. They stated that she has not mentioned such plan to them. They claimed they don't know her residence. The gang leader, Clay Maton stated that he only send text or email messages to her whenever they need her services. So it becoming very cumbersome for the witch to be located. The plate number of the Ferrari sport car was checked on vehicular registration data system to know it owner. It was discovered that the car plate number belonged to Miss Kiola Alberta, a prostitute, gambler, buglar, hacker, serving ten years jail term for several crimes she committed.
Colonel Philip Goodman and his team decided to visit her for interrogation. The military personnels however meet with the prison officials first to find out if their prisoner has any magic power. They wanted to know if the prison officials had noticed her disappearing at any time in the past. The response of the prison commanding official was no. He believed the inmate do not have any special magic power.
Further discussion with Kiola Alberta revealed she still has a mother living at 60 Lipad House, Clifford Road, Ralite City. But she claimed she did not know the members of the Axe gang. Individual pictures of each member were also shown to her but she seemed not to have met any of the members. For her Ferrari sport car driven to the forest, she claimed that it only her mother that have access to the car. She stated that one of her vehicle spare key is with her mother. When she was asked if her mother has special power or magic, she claimed she has no knowledge of such.
So the investigative team headed by Colonel Philip Goodman has one more task of locating Kiola Alberta's mother, Fionna Alberta. Since they have identified the Ferrari sport car owner and she seemed not to have magic power then they shifted attention towards her mother.
They need to get to her location as soon as possible and arrest her without she disappearing again. Her crime history had been checked, it was discovered that she has no criminal record. So, Colonel Philip Goodman assumed she's meticulous about her vices. She's assumed to have foot soldiers in the Axe gang. Who knows if she's grand patron to other bad gangs' in the city.
How would they capture her if she is the suspect, since she's always becoming invisible. They don't want her to escape if she is the suspect. So they needed a good plan to capture her. While they were deliberating on what to do in their meeting, an officer, Major Phil Lake, recounted how king defeated the wizard in the cave of the mine factory some years back. He was part of the team sent to the underground mine to search for the wizard. He reminded the team how king with the silver coloured knife saw the invisible wizard and destroy him. So he suggested that the only way to capture the witch is for either the king or his son, the Prince to accompany the team for the arrest. Because with the special knife, with either of them, the invisible witch can be seen wherever she decides to hide.
Colonel Philip Goodman and his team concluded that the suggestion from Major Phil Lake is a good one. He then informed his superior General Paul Fred who immediately relate the need to the king. The king however informed the Prince of the new development in the search for the witch. He was told the arrest will be done early the next day. So he has to be on ground with the Colonel Philip Goodman team to end the search for the witch and at the same time stop her future menace in the city. He agreed to join the team as early as 7:30am as the operation is due for 8am the next day.
