Unsteady and still anxious, Daerin kept on checking back and forth from the window to see if the doctor had arrived and on his wristwatch, while keeping a glance on Rexana. He didn't understand why it was almost half an hour and the doctor was still showing up.
He didn't want to call another since Rocco said he had already contacted one.
Rexana groaned and Daerin abruptly ran towards her.
"Ana, Ana, thank God you have finally awakened. I am so worried." He rubbed her cheeks and felt the warm liquid that came out from her eyes. "We have already contacted the doctor, he will be here in a minute." A word of assurance that he thought could help Rexana from crying and being worried.
But Rexana slightly shook her head and weakly said, "No, you don't need to."
"We need to, I am so worried, you collapsed."
