In her sopping wet dress and excited face, Rexana got more elated, she not only got five shells full of pearls but also the sight of the de la Croix's car, parked in front of their small hut made her jump, exulted.
'Daerin is here to visit me!' she exclaimed with her thought as she hurriedly ran back home.
However, as she reached home it wasn't Daerin's voice that she heard, instead the older Mr de la Croix. Yes, it was Dairen's dad. He was talking with her parents.
She couldn't believe that Daerin's dad had to visit them. Not unless it was about something very important. Rexana could partly anticipate that it might be because of their wedding. Daerin had told them about it.
'Does it mean that they accept her and they too are excited about the wedding?' Rexana thought positively.
