To Louisa, she kept thinking how the other staffs will be like, I pray they are welcoming because the last thing I want is for anyone to compound my problems.
In about thirty minutes, she and her boss started heading toward the Common room, sooner than later they were already standing by the door, Brian spared her one last glance before opening the door, he walked gracefully to his sit where only him occupies while the one at his right was left vacant.
Louisa was so tensed because all the attention was on her, if it wasn't for the fact that he had already bracen up her mind, she would have been fidgeting. The room had this cold aura that Louisa couldn't help but ask herself what's common about the room. It was so big and the temperature of the room was something else coupled with the silence in the room plus the eyes that were prying on her. God please come to my rescue, she prayed silently.
As soon as Brian got to his sit, everyone stood up to greet him, he have them signal to sir down and all theses while Louisa was just standing there like a monument waiting for orders from her boss.
Brian waited when everyone was quiet again, before he beckoned on Louisa to take the sit at the right beside him, while his Financial manager took the one at the left.
He cleared his throat to gain everyone's attention to him before he start the introduction.

Good morning sir, they all responded, Louisa could see some of his female workers drooling while staring at him and it irritated her, yes he is handsome but must they behave like that? I guess they are the ones making him feel like a deputy Jesus, when they give him too much of attention. She let her gaze linger in Brian face for a while before concentrating on the introductory speech his was giving.
The reason I called for this meeting is to introduce you all to my new personal assistant so you all can familiarise yourself with her and also treat her like one of us, he continued what he was saying without minding the murmuring from some of the shareholders. I'm going to open the floor for the new P.A to introduce herself.
Louisa stood up from her sit and introduced herself as per her boss's instructions.
My name is Louisa Jacobs, I'm the new personal assistant and I would love to be treated as one of you as I work here, while i try my best to take this organisation to another level with the little I know, that will be all for now. Thank you.
Now the floor is open for everyone to introduce their selves starting for the board of shareholders, the first person was so adamant to introduce himself but the stares that Brian was giving to him, he had no other option. They all introduced their selves to her, some of the staffs came to congratulate her while some gave her attitude. Especially the financial manager who has eyes on their boss, she felt as though she now has a big competitior because Louisa is a full package.

Thanks a lot Jude, I truly appreciate your kind gestures and I will keep that in mind...she didn't get to finish what she was going to say when Brian interrupted her conversation with him, If you are done acquainting yourself with everyone, can we go to the office, you know I'm not fine giving you pointers, normally he would have assigned someone to equip her on what to do but he just felt like he doesn't want anyone to get her attention which was very strange to him as well.

On the other hand, Brian kept giving Jude this stern glance as though telling him she's off limit.
Louisa noticed that because Jude has become so calm all of a sudden, why is he even behaving that way, must he be that cold towards him? She thought.
Louisa let's go, he left without turning back, Louisa had to run to catch up with him
