Cillian's heart raced as he gazed into Bliss' confused eyes. How could he have forgotten everything? It seemed unimaginable.
He gently grasped Bliss by the shoulders and spoke with a mixture of hope and desperation, "I'm Cillian, don't you remember? We've been together for over a thousand years."
Bliss stared back, his expression pained as he confessed, "I'm sorry, but I can't recognize you. All I know is my name."
Cillian felt a heavy weight in his chest. The only friend he'd ever had couldn't recall their shared history. It had taken him years to forgive Bliss, but once he had, they had grown closer than ever before. And now, he felt the crushing loss of one of his dearest companions.
Cillian cast his gaze downwards with great difficulty. Stellar cast an illusion, enveloping the entire hall, shielding them from prying eyes, as if the world around them had faded into insignificance, leaving only Stellar, Cillian, and Bliss in their private cocoon.
