Tianlin gazed at Cillian. He was getting dressed by a couple of housemaids. Cillian felt his eyes on him and smiled. Tianlin smiled back.
When they were done getting dressed, Tianlim ordered:
"Leave."
As soon as the room was empty, Cillian pulled out his mirror and called his grandfather. Cillian took a seat on the bed and Tianlin sat next to him. Haiqiao appeared and looked at Cillian coldly.
Cillian looked at him, pouting. Haiqiao said:
"This won't work. You're not a child anymore, Lian."
Cillian looked at him seriously and asked:
"If I'm not a child anymore, why don't you trust my decisions?"
"You think I have a problem with your decision?"
Cillian nodded. Haiqiao said:
"I have a problem with finding out my grandson is getting married to the emperor, by a stranger. You clearly don't care about me and how I feel, since you didn't intend to tell me."
