Noah and Esther looked at Cillian wide-eyed. Noah asked:
"What did you just say?"
"I said that I'm sure you'll find someone."
Noah relaxed upon hearing that, he was so stressed that he misheard him.
"Hopefully in time for Kalel, and I's wedding."
Noah's heartbeat quickened as he looked at Cillian's grin. He heard him right.
Esther asked:
"Are you two together?"
Cillian said:
"We are."
Noah asked:
"Have you been together when we were engaged?"
Cillian said:
"No, I would rather not tarnish our relationship by adding you to it."
Noah stood up and yelled:
"You son of a bitch!"
Josiah cursed inwardly, tomorrow is the ball, and they are ruining everything.
Esther looked at Cillian's mocking smile and asked:
"Cillian how can you be so cruel? How can you be with him when he was engaged to Noah until this morning?"
