Cillian pushed Kalel away.
He narrowed his eyes.
"I only agree to sleep next to you, not with you. If I recall correctly, you're engaged to Noah."
Kalel caressed his cheek and said:
"I wasn't planning to do anything besides kiss you. I've been wanting to do it since we first met. It's hard to resist it when you're sleeping right next to me."
Cillian smiled, then he asked:
"Why did you agree to marry Noah if you felt nothing for him?"
"I believed I would have as much chance of falling in love with him as anyone else. So when my mother proposed, I simply agreed."
Cillian cocked his head.
"Why?"
"All I've ever cared about since I was little is music, I never had deep feelings for anything or anyone else."
Cillian nodded.
"Until I met you."
Cillian smiled.
