Camila picked up the baby and grabbed her cell phone when it rang. She settled back onto the couch and looked at the notification from the surveillance system.
It was a video. Camila played it and saw Cillian walking up the stairs to his room. She increased the playback speed and frowned when she noticed that there was no activity for the past three days.
Cillian hadn't been seen leaving for work or even going to the kitchen to eat. Camila gently placed the sleeping baby in the crib and returned to the living room.
She tried calling Cillian, but he didn't answer. Her brow furrowed even deeper. Cillian was supposed to be having dinner with Espen. She decided to call Espen directly.
When Espen's phone rang, he pulled it out and smiled upon seeing that it was Camila. Before he could answer, Lucas asked, "Is it Cillian?"
