Ruby giggled at Adelard's immediate defense. "I'm playing on you. So, let's go."
Adelard shook his head. "Sometimes you act like someone I know."
"I bet a mischievous person." Ruby said grinned as they started walking together in the silent hallway.
"Yeah. A woman full of mischief indeed." Adelard said in apparent sadness on his voice.
Ruby saw that and wondered who was it. "Where is that person now?"
Adelard only shook his head to that question. He had no answer to that. He might have already found the face he was searching for but it seemed that there was something lacking. A great void stayed on his chest.
Unsatisfied of the one he had found.
The face of that woman was the same as his duchess in Lezia but younger. However, the connection wasn't there at all. Maybe because of that one instance that he asked her for dinner.
