"The duke is here?" Cataleya's brows raised.
"Yes, milady." The maid confirmed,standing up straight as soon as she was finished serving the food on the mini table at the bed.
"Oh." Was the only thing Cataleya managed to say even though her heart raced at the thought of the duke being in the same house.
"Shall I inform the duke that you're awake?"
"No!" Cataleya halted and cleared her throat. "No. I-I want to rest after the meal. Also, you said that he came here out of urgent matter. So, I don't want to get in the duke's way."
"Understood, milady. For now, I'm gonna have to attend with my other chores. You can call for me once you're done." The maid said.
"Yes, I will just place this to the bed side right after. You can come if you're through with your other duties. Thank you." Cataleya suggested.
The maid bowed to her once before leaving the room.
