Surprisingly, Cataleya let go of him but her face was still a picture of restlessness. "Come …back…later."
The duke blinked again to the lady. It took him a little while before he processed that.
The maids were surprised at the duke's response.
"I will," he said to her and quickly exited the room.
The maids then started to clean Cataleya with a damped cloth and lukewarm water before they changed her into a new dress. They managed to feed her the bitter tunic since the lady was responsive even when her eyes were close.
Though her words slurred but they understood what she desired. She wanted to wear a not so thick dress since she felt hot. She didn't want to be tucked in under the blanket and it was understandable for someone in high temperature.
