Cataleya shot up from her seat at the entrance of Cxenon dragging the duke inside. Stefan and Ruby followed behind rather calmly.
Ruby ran towards Cataleya's direction in anxious face.
"I don't know what is happening but lord Stefan briefed me that this is part of the plan." Ruby said.
"Yes. We'll be in the show when they show up." Cataleya said.
"They? The royal family?" Ruby asked.
"Precisely." Cataleya observed the duke who was still staring in a trance on each of their faces as if he had no idea even his own identity. She approached them and had the same reaction along with Cxenon. "Why isn't he snapping out from it yet?"
Stefan saw it and clicked his fingers before the duke's face. "The stone is not working. He got a heavy dose of it."
"Is this how he was controlled?" Cxenon asked, having both of his hands in waist. "Maybe I punched too hard a while ago?"
"It was a hard punch though." Ruby confirmed.
