"Olivia! Get up, you're gonna be late!" My mother shouts.
"Shit! Yeah coming down now!" I yell, jumping out of bed. I grab a white tank top and a pair of black ripped jeans, I throw them on, tucking my shirt in. I grab my brush and try to tame my wavy brown hair. I put my brush down and go to the bathroom, grabbing mascara, I start applying it to my lashes. When I finished my makeup, I grabbed my bag and headed downstairs. Quickly looking around, I mindlink my mom.
Where are my boots? I ask.
By the door, hurry up or you're gonna miss the bus! She responds seconds later.
I grab my backpack and put my boots on, running out the door. I slow my pace as I hear and see Alice and Knox ``What do you mean?! Shes gorgeous you stupid baboon!" Alice yells at Knox. A small giggle slips my mouth.
"I know that Alice! Don't get your panties in a twist!" Knox snaps back.
"Sorry Mr. Olivia expert! She's my bestie!" Alice growls.
"And she's my girlfriend!" He snarls.
I giggle, watching them fight over me is entertaining. Knox turns his head slightly in my direction, his eyes soften and a small grin appears on his face. I run over and give him a hug only for him to squeeze a ticklish part of my waist, earning laughter from me. Alice watches, rolling her eyes at us. "C'mon love birds the bus is here" She says pointing to a yellow blob in the distance. I fix my shirt and throw my bag over my shoulder. SCREECH! The bus slows to a stop and we get on. Alice heads to the back of the bus, me and Knox follow sitting together across from her.
"Knox?" I say.
"Knox…?" I repeat.
"Knox?!" I yell.
"Hmm? Oh… What was that? Oh yes Babe?" He finally responds, not looking at me. I roll my eyes and follow his gaze, he's staring at two boys.
Alphas Olivia be careful. My wolf Kioko warns. I nod slightly and return my gaze to the window.
Kioko…? I ask softly.
Yes Olivia? Kioko responds.
Will they… Be controlling? Of the females? I mean. I ask nervously.
I'm not sure Olivia… Yo- She cuts herself off mid sentence.
Kioko? What are you not telling me? I snap.
You need to be careful around the males you're still mateless. Kioko snarls.
I look down, afraid of what might happen when I'm by myself. The bus jerks forward, stopping at the school. Knox lifts me up by my waist putting me down in front of him. I can hear him let out a low possessive growl, making me nervous.
"K-Knox…?" I squeak.
"Yes Babe?" He responds looking down at me.
"W-why are you being possessive r-right now?" I ask, looking down at my feet.
"Don't worry about it Babe" He says looking up.
Knox pushes me forward signaling it's time to get off the bus. I go down the steps a little too fast and slip forward, I let out a small shriek and close my eyes shut. An arm snakes itself around my waist, holding me up. I open my eyes as my boots touch the ground.
"Y'know you should be more careful little one" one of the new kids says.
Kioko snarls at them "Little one?! I'm 4'9! Do you hear yourself you dick!" I throw my hands over my mouth. Knox bursts into laughter, the new kids smirk at my sudden outburst.
"I-i'm sorry! Kioko can be aggressive!" I blurt out.
"Hey it's fine Princess. And C'mon you know we won't do shit to her!" The taller one says as he wraps his arms around me.
"Jackson! Keep your paws off her!" Knox yells.
"She's not your mate Knox! Ryan back me up" Jackson growls.
"Knox, she's not yours" Ryan says grinning. I try to walk to Knox but Jacksons grip tightens around me.
"Knox" I squeak, getting anxious.
"Calm down Princess you're safe" Jackson says, turning us around, walking to a bench. He sits down and I straddle him, still scared. He holds me closer, stroking my head.
Kioko… I'm scared. I say.
Shh calm down Kitten I won't hurt you. Jackson tells me through mindlink. I jump startled and hit my head on his chin.
"Ow" I mumble, rubbing my head.
Jackson laughs "Sorry Gumdrop"
"Stop with the stupid pet names!" I yell, getting up.
"And what are you gonna do about it if we don't stop?" Ryan challenged, holding me back.
"I-I'll bite you!" I snap, baring my canines, pushing away from Ryan.
"Where are you going to love?" Ryan asks as he walks towards us. I mumble.
"What was that Kitten?" Ryan grins. I open my mouth to say something but I feel a hand cover my mouth.
"Lets go Jackson, She can't be late her mother would flip" Ryan says. Jackson stands up still holding me and walks to my locker. He puts me down and I stand on my tippy toes trying to unlock my locker, I grumble about not being able to reach my key lock. I mumble.
"What?" Ryan asks.
"I-I ca-" I stop talking feeling embarrassed so I just point to my locker with the key in my hand.
"What? Oooh someone can't reach?" Jackson teases, taking the key and unlocking my locker. I sit there and grumble under my breath.
"Are you done yet?" I ask.
"Almost Princess." Jackson tells me.
"Oka-" I stop mid sentence, seeing Knox. I make my way over to him, only to have Ryan grab me by the waist. "H-Hey! Ryan! Let go!" I growl in anger.
"No CottonBall stay with us" He snaps harshly. I shrink back and go to Jackson for space. Ryan see's this and runs his hand through his hair.
"Kitten, I didn't mean it… I just don't like you with him" Ryan pleads, looking at the floor.
"Babe!" Knox yells at me.
"Oh! Knox hi!" I smile at him. Jackson and Ryan pull me behind them, anger radiating off them. Kioko takes over and snaps at the boys "For fucks sake! Stop acting like we're defenseless! And stop fighting over us!" They all turn to me, surprised at my outburst I roll my eyes and mumble something.
"I'm going to class, and you three are staying here until you figure out how to behave!" I snap heading to my class.
Alice, I'm heading to class. I told her.
Are your lost puppies following? She laughs.
No i told them to fuck off and sort themselves out. I growl feeling like some little puppet.
Nice I'll meet you in class. Alice quickly says. I walk into my classroom and head to the back. I go to my seat in the corner and wait for Alice. Then I hear a fight breakout in the hallway.
