Talisa immediately opened the wardrobe and was surprised to see a lot of woman's clothes and coincidentally the size fit her body. She then took a pair of long jeans and a sleeveless shirt. Quickly, Talisa changed clothes. She also found a pair of sneakers and put them on as quickly as she could.
When she left the room, Darius was waiting outside. He leaned against the balcony and faced directly towards the bedroom door, making Talisa startled.
"Do I look like a ghost?" asked Darius.
"Similar," Talisa said annoyed, clutching her chest, wishing her heart would stop beating so fast. Everything that happened recently made Talisa very easily surprised. Nothing is normal and Talisa is not used to it yet.
"Follow me," Darius said as he walked straight down the stairs. Talisa hastily followed from behind. His long legs made his steps wide and fast, making it difficult for Talisa to keep up.
"Can you slow down please?" Talisa asked.
"One second wasted might cost you the opportunity of your life, Talisa," Darius replied, without turning back in the slightest.
Talisa just snorted softly and then jogged after Darius.
This house turned out to be more spacious than Talisa had previously thought. Darius took her to walk quite a distance through many luxurious rooms to nowhere.
"Actually, where are we going, and how long does it take to get there?" Talisa asked.
Darius didn't answer, he just kept walking fast. Talisa began to feel irritated and tired from jogging far enough. She glared at Darius from behind. But then they arrived at a large glass door that made the evening sun look very beautiful. Talisa was amazed by the beautiful scenery outside; it was a large flower garden. Instantly her anger was replaced with admiration.
The light of the evening sun hit the colorful flowers, making them seem to glow. They then walked on a path made of neatly arranged stones, among the fragrant flowers. The smell of the flowers made Talisa lulled.
Since childhood, Talisa loves being in nature. She even felt that she could talk to everything that grew above the ground. In the past, Talisa had a small garden behind her parents' house. She would farm there every chance she got. Unfortunately, after their mother became ill, they were forced to sell the house and move into a simple flat. Talisa can only maintain a few plants in pots.
"You have a place like this?" Talisa asked, looking around. The trees are lined up neatly as if they have their respective places in this park.
"I like flowers," he answered simply.
A cold guy who likes flowers. For Talisa, it is a contradiction. It seems strange to see a man as cold as Darius who likes flowers that are synonymous with beauty, warmth, and romance. Talisa almost laughed at her thoughts, imagining Darius in all the floral romance.
"Try here," Darius said, suddenly stopping walking.
Talisa, who didn't pay attention, almost bumped into Darius who was in front of her. Talisa looked around her. By now they had passed the flowerbed area and entered a place with wide-open grass. The trees lined up as if they were fences around them. Darius then touched a wooden stick stuck in the ground. He then pushed it down and suddenly vines and a fence made of wood appeared from behind the trees and closed the place.
The fact that they were alone now, made Talisa palpitate.
"W-why did you block the exit?" Talisa asked, trying hard to hide her nervousness.
"So you can concentrate," Darius replied.
"Concentrate?"
Talisa couldn't even calm her heart right now. Just the two of them out in the open when it got dark. Talisa couldn't take her mind off how Darius had touched her all over and even seen her naked. What if Darius needed to touch her again now? Was that the reason why Darius blocked the exit from this place? Those thoughts made Talisa uneasy.
"Why?" Darius asked as he walked closer.
"Ehm... Eh... It's okay," Talisa replied as she stepped back.
"I told you to concentrate, why are you just standing there?" Darius asked again.
"Eh, uhm ... okay," said Talisa again.
Darius then sat cross-legged on the grass in front of Talisa. He then looked at Talisa, as if telling her to do the same. Talisa finally sat cross-legged in front of Darius, trying to cover her blushing face and pounding heart.
"What should I do now?" Talisa asked confused.
"Close your eyes, concentrate. Think back to that little girl you saw. Then feel the energy from the ground as you do it. Try it, I didn't know if it will work or not. I'm not an earth elemental master," Darius replied.
"Okay," said Talisa.
Remembering the little girl made Talisa shudder a little. However, whatever it was, Talisa had to do it. Talisa closed her eyes and took a deep breath like she was about to do yoga. She took a yoga class a few years ago before things got really bad in her life. Talisa then tried to feel the nature around her and tried to remember the little girl.
"Help me..."
The girl's voice began to sound faint in Talisa's ears, but she couldn't see anything yet.
"I heard her voice faintly, but I couldn't see anything," Talisa said.
"Try again," Darius said in an urgent voice.
Talisa then took a deep breath and closed her eyes again, trying to concentrate even more.
"Please..." said the little girl, now her voice sounded clearer.
Talisa tried her best to be able to see at least a clue, but she didn't experience any visions. Talisa then felt her whole body become hot, sweat began to pour out, wetting her forehead and back.
"It's very hot," she said.
"Has there been any progress?" asked Darius.
Talisa shook her head. No progress at all. The girl's voice was clear but only repeated asking for help. Nothing, no clues. The more Talisa tried, the hotter it felt and the harder it was to concentrate. However, suddenly, Darius pulled the collar of the sleeveless shirt that Talisa was wearing.
"Hey!" Talisa exclaimed.
Without saying anything, very quickly Darius pulled the shirt so hard, that it was released from Talisa's body.
"Darius!" Talisa protested in a high and panicked voice. Talisa then covered her two breasts which were only covered with underwear, using both hands.
"I will help you," Darius replied.
"W-what?" Talisa asked confused.
Before Talisa could do anything, Darius had knocked her down and lay on the grass. Darius firmly held Talisa's shoulders until she couldn't move.
"Let me go!" Talisa exclaimed.
"Shut up! This is the fastest way," Darius said with a sharp look, so urgent and forced.
