They planned the nursery with joy, painted the walls bright colors and arranged the furniture with love. They spend time together selecting cute baby toys and clothes, imagining how their lives will change when their baby arrives.
In the last few months, Talisa and Darius prepared themselves emotionally and physically for the birth of their child. They take breathing classes, learn about the birth process, and write their birth plan.
Talisa looked at Darius lovingly. "We've been through so much together, Darius. I can't think of anyone else I'd want to go on this journey besides you."
Darius smiled and hugged Talisa gently. "And I can't imagine my life without you and our baby, Talisa. We're going to be a wonderful family, I'm sure of that."
