I couldn't even have a nice rest for the whole night. Zein slept with me and I'm surprised how she was able to peacefully sleep despite how messy I was last night.
I looked at the still sleeping Zein. It's only 6 in the morning.
It still amazes me how different this world is, it's the complete opposite of what I expected. I mean, I was once a fan of vampires. Back then I thought, they can't go out in daylight, they don't sleep, they only drink blood, they're like a robot who doesn't have emotion… but looking at them now…
I shook my head.
Still, I shouldn't forget how they killed my parents. I should first find out who attached us 7 years ago… and find the man who turned me into this.
I got up and walked to the kitchen. I'll cook us breakfast. I learned how to cook all thanks to Zein. If only she's born human, she can already be a professional cook… she probably wouldn't have to live such a hard life.
Zello and Zein's parents died when they were still young. Unfortunately, she couldn't remember anything… her parent's faces and how they died. All she knew was they got into an accident. As for Zello, something's bugging me about that kid. But since he never really does something suspicious, I just dropped it… as long as it's still none of my business.
I just finished cooking when Zein came out of my room.
"Morning. Let's eat."

After putting on my cap and id, I took my bag and left my room. I saw Zein waiting in the living room. She's really quick at dressing up, what a girl.
"Let's go."
We teleported in front of the senior building, just right beside our dormitory.
We started walking inside. It's huge. As expected to a gold sucker academy, it's quite decent.
It's still early so can I see some students hanging out in the hallway.
I see students in gray and white uniforms along with the ones wearing black in every room we're passing by.
I don't know if it's a good thing that they didn't split us or bad. It's obviously uncomfortable for the students to be with a different ranked vampire. Most especially the low ranks, they seem to fear the students wearing gray and white uniforms… and I also see… bullying.
'Vamtards.' I mumbled.
"What?" Zein asked.
'Shocks, I almost forgot about her!'
"Ah– haha, I said, what's our first subject?" I just asked. She took our sched. in her bag.
"Hmm… oh! It's history." She answered, "Our prof. is… Sir. Blaze."
"I see—"
'Sir. Blaze'
'Sir. Blaze'
'Sir. Bla—'
"SAY WHAT?!"
*CRINGGGGGGGGGGGGGG*
"It's time." Zein grabbed my hands and pulled me inside a room.
'Just how long were we walking for the bell to start ringing at the worst time! Fuck! Get me out of hereeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!'
Zein sat on the vacant seat at the back and pulled me to sit beside her.
Should I be grateful that I'm far from the teacher's desk or pray to whatever saint lives here to give me patience while sitting beside a noble?! And besides Zein is a royal. What a great situation to start my day.
I saw on the academy guide book that the ones wearing black uniforms are the commons, the gray ones are nobles and the white ones are for royals.
"Hi! I'm Aries. Nice meeting you beautiful ladies." the royal beside Zein greeted us with a big smile. Looks like a playboy. We just ignored him and suddenly, I heard someone laughing beside me. It's the noble girl.
"Hilarious! You were totally ignored, how humiliating, Aries Collins," she scoffed.
That voice… she's the one who talked back at Sir. Max at the opening ceremony.
"Shut up, Lionel." the Aries guy glared at the Lionel girl. "They're just being shy, right?" he looked back at us and smiled but again we ignored him.
"Don't call me that bastard. And obviously, they're not interested in you." Lionel said and rolled her eyes at him before looking at us. I and Zein were just quietly listening to them and so were the other students.
I like her attitude a bit.
"I'm Cloe Irene Lionel, btw," she said and extended her hands to me. I just looked at it. I have no intention of making friends with higher ranks. Zein and Zello are enough for me.
Zein seems to realize that I'm not interested in getting to know her so she took the hands of Lionel girl on my steed.
"I'm Zeinelle Voxcille and this girl here is Azaria Haven Clementine. She's not very friendly so just let her be," she said and awkwardly smiled.
'Gomen Zein!'
"It's fine. I like vampires like that," she responds. It doesn't seem like she's lying.
We have mutual feelings, I guess. I could have entertained her if only she's from common rank. Too bad…
The noisy room suddenly turned silent. I was alarmed when I saw Eze— Sir. Blaze walked to the front desk. Here goes this heat inside my body again. I feel like my blood is boiling but it's not anger… it's something I can't explain.
I was sure he wouldn't notice me but he suddenly scanned the whole room and our eyes met again. He seemed to be taken aback.
This time, I stared at him without staggering. 'Why does it look like we know each other? Why do I feel longing? Who are you? What are you to me?!
"That's one dangerous look." Aries.
"Oh my. How intent." Zein.
"Must be love at first sight. I saw both of them falling unconscious at the ceremony after staring at each other." Cloe.
I closed my eyes tightly and glared at the three whose giving me a smug face.
"Urusai." I warned.
"Ara, how scary. Alright, we won't disturb you again. You may continue your sweet staring session." Cloe said sarcastically.
"Zakennayo—"
"Quite." a very cold voice of Sir. Blaze echoed.
"Introduce yourself. Starting from the BACK," he demanded while still staring at me. He didn't see my face last night, right? Right?!
Aries stood up and introduced himself and it continued up until the very last student in front, "I'm Yuki Velmore." the girl in white uniform introduced herself and elegantly sat back down.
I wasn't able to properly introduce myself earlier because of the mocking look of the 3 beside me and the stare of Sir Blaze was making me uncomfortable.
'Urg! Embarrassing, stuttering for a simple gaze! Damn it! Pull yourself together, Azariya! And speaking of Azariya, he just suddenly said he'll call me 'Azra' 'cause my name was too long! How dare he decide just whatever he wants. How annoying!'
I couldn't think straight the whole class so I ended up wasting my time not learning anything about their history! It's the subject I'm really looking forward to learning but for some reason, luck wasn't just on my side…
Nah, I could have just ignored him and focused on his lecture but… his very presence is the reason for my distraction.
Next to that was math, we all ended up wasting almost half of our hours due to the endless quarrel between Cloe and Sir. Max. Aries told us that they had a past issue when Sir. Max was still a student of this academy. I also learned that they just graduated last year and now they are already a teacher… no one really questioned it since they were the most powerful students in the past years. But if they're that powerful, could they be noble or maybe a royal?
Wait, I think I've read in the academy guidebook that royals can only take the position of a guardian, and HM. And if they're noble… why do they have to hide their smell? I heard nobles are also greatly respected and looked up to.
Anyways, let's take it slow for now. I'm only starting, I'll eventually learn things sooner or later.
The class ended with Cloe being so furious. I can almost see smoke coming from her ears and nose. Even I couldn't stop myself from laughing at their constant argument.
Alright, enough of them. Let's see what's our next class—
'WTF? 2hrs and half combat then 1 hr lunch break and then 3 hrs of prime magic training and another 3 hrs of magic enhancement? You're kidding me… the normal class was only 1 hr and a half so I thought it would be the same for the rest! I wouldn't have much time to look around and gather information after class.'
Sir. Archer appeared in front of the class. He's wearing the P.E uniform of the Academy.
"Get changed to your combat uniform and ran up to the training hall. Time allotment, 10 minutes. There's a punishment for anyone who gets late or uses teleportation or any kind of magic. Start." and he disappeared. The class fell into a great silence for a moment and in an instant, it becomes wild. Everyone is rushing out of the room and almost drowning on the floor. What a sight. Even the higher ranks are on it.
The four of us on the back just sigh and shook our heads and headed to the door at the back and left. They panicked too quickly and forgot that we have doors both upfront and at the back.
I saw Cloe mouthed 'Bakaaaaaaa.' to the students squeezing each other in front looking so confounded. I just chuckled.
'Such a bully.'
