Eloise POV:
I lay down on the sofa. She sat beside me, playing the game intently. The apartment we were in had the best view of the city.
This scene often appeared in my dreams when I was young, but it had now become a reality.
Chasel left after sending me back to my apartment because he had his things to do. I didn't ask too much because I knew that was his privacy. We were just friends. I didn't need to know so much about him.
"Don't be like this. You should be playing games like me, not lying here." She looked at me and shoved the other handle into my arms.
I was very grateful that she was with me at such a busy time, but I didn't think I was as bad as she thought. I wouldn't feel heartbroken just because I'd been abandoned by the pack, who used to live here, and I wouldn't feel anxious because of a man who had hurt me.
At least, that was what I thought now.
"What do you want to play?"
