Atticus' POV:
I was already standing at his office door when Soren shouted that Eloise was missing and tried to hang up on me. I opened the door and urged him to hurry up and bring his men with me.
I knew it would turn out like this. I had already expected this to happen when I handed over the document.
There was no way Lisa wouldn't know about it after we found out about it. She would never let Eloise go.
And now that Eloise's phone could not be reached, it explained everything.
I sat in the back seat and listened to them discuss their strategy. I didn't know where they were going, but I was sure they would save Eloise.
A boy was sitting next to me, playing with the computer seriously. He looked like he was unfamiliar with these people. He was even more of a bystander than I was. I observed him curiously, but he just turned his head.
"I don't understand. How did they find her?" Soren said, confused.
