I flipped through the lengthy document and felt my eyes were almost stung by the words. I didn't know how to describe what I saw.
It was a shocking truth.
My parents didn't just get into a simple car accident. The car accident was premeditated. I can prove now that it was caused by the second-in-command of the pack I was in before. He was the original Beta, now the Alpha.
He was my respected uncle and Lisa's father.
As for the reason Lisa needed blood, it was related to her illness. However, she could have used other things.
But she just didn't want me to be able to breathe freely.
I called Soren back as quickly as I could. And before he could even speak, I was already crying out loud.
I could imagine this. It was not like I hadn't guessed it before, but I still felt it was a huge blow to me when I realized this was the case. It was as if the world I originally lived in had completely fallen apart.
