Eloise's POV:
After telling them what happened to Chloe, I followed Soren to another building.
Even in the car, I still had a clear understanding of this place. This place was too big, even bigger than Lisa's pack's Alpha residence.
Countless images flashed through my mind. However, when we arrived at our destination, he only told me to stay in a room before he went out.
I sat on the sofa. For a moment, I didn't know what I should do. So, I started to inspect the living environment.
The room looked like it had never been occupied before, but every part of the furnishings was very elegant. And most importantly, this place felt strangely familiar.
It took me a few minutes to realize that the decoration style was the kind that my mother liked. However, I'd never seen anything like this since they died.
This realization made me almost unable to move as it was indeed something that my mother had experienced.
