"I never imagined that you would have such courage." Both Soren and Chloe looked at me and said at the same time. Their mouths were opened so wide an entire egg could be stuffed inside them.
It must be because they had lived together for a long time, so they looked so similar now.
I did not know where my courage came from. However, I knew that if I did not do this, I did not know what else I could say to Atticus. He did not give off a friendly vibe, and I did not even want to talk to him.
I did not think that his injuries were as terrible as he made them out to be, but I did not know why he wanted everyone to think so.
Unless he really wanted to avoid the wedding.
