Eloise's POV:
"I heard that your pack seems to be having some financial problems. This is terrible. I'm very sorry to hear this." I tried to sound as sincere as possible.
I crossed my arms and looked at the woman before me, seriously thinking about what I should say next.
She was still the same, looking very pitiful. But now, these things couldn't move me anymore.
I'd already suffered too much from her. I was not the kind of person who would forgive her easily.
I bought a lot of painting equipment because I did plan to stay here for a while. However, I didn't expect to meet Lisa when I returned.
However, I couldn't say too much, either. After all, I didn't think I could deal with things calmly. When I did that, I felt tired. This was not a good sign.
"That's right. The pack was in a tough spot now. I believe you won't be afraid." Lisa looked even more upset than she had been a few minutes ago.
