Atticus' POV:
I looked at Lisa. I didn't know what she was trying to say, but my instinct told me it was better to stay away from her.
She was a very smart girl, and I didn't want to be tricked by her because of my carelessness.
"There's nothing to talk about between us." I insisted on my opinion. There was no longer any relationship between us. I knew what she was thinking when she agreed to release the news. She wanted too much, and I didn't want to give it to her.
However, she blocked the door with force. If she didn't let go, I'd hurt her if I forcefully closed the door.
I could call the bodyguards, but I'd rather give her some face and hear what she wanted to say.
So I just stood there and watched her quietly.
"Our relationship shouldn't end like this," she spoke in a gentle tone and looked very sad.
However, this kind of story could no longer move me.
