Eloise's POV:
I put down my phone in despair. Atticus almost refused to communicate with me in any way, making it impossible for me to communicate with him.
"A few hours have passed. Unless he lost his phone and computer, he should be able to notice it," I muttered as I picked up the pencil.
This sadness inspired me, and I had to record it.
'He probably just didn't hear your call.' My wolf consoled me in my mind.
'No, he's trying to make me sadder.' I sighed and closed my sketchbook.
He wouldn't let me have an easy time. I firmly believed in this.
I could imagine him making those so-called excuses 'for the sake of the pack', but I know those things had nothing to do with me.
My departure from this place would not affect my life much. It was just a change of location to continue wandering.
