Eloise's POV:
I felt the special weather here when I got off the plane. I stretched lazily and tried to make myself look more natural. However, such actions were useless.
I felt even more nervous.
I was grateful that Atticus chose a private jet. It didn't make me feel any more awkward than before.
I refused to communicate with him until my feet touched the ground. After all, this wasn't an occasion that required me to be intimate with him.
It wasn't like the city we lived in, which had a long rainy days. The clear sky seemed to have improved my mood.
"I like the weather here," my wolf said, which was rare. This was indeed a good sign. It'd been a long time since I'd spoken to it.
"Does this make you feel better?" I heard Atticus' voice and turned to look at him. His face had returned to its usual emotionless state.
