Eloise's POV:
By the time I was fully awake, the sky was already bright. I didn't know if this was the second day or longer, but I had at least slept for nearly twenty hours. My bones were aching all over, and it was obvious that they didn't transport me here in a particularly comfortable way.
But that was no longer important. The important thing was I should find a way to get out of there.
I looked out the window.
This must be a manor or an apartment. Otherwise, there wouldn't be such a good view. I looked at the pigeons flying by the window and couldn't help but sigh.
Although the conditions there seemed to be good, my room was not like that. Many of the items here looked like they had not been used for a long time, as they had a faint moldy smell.
I might not have noticed this before, but now I could smell it.
