Atticus' POV:
I knew I was experiencing some dreams because I had not seen Eloise like this for a long time.
She stood beside me in a sports suit and chatted with me in a very light tone. I didn't want to respond to her, so I could only use a calm manner to brush her off. However, she seemed not to care at all and continued to chat happily.
She was a little frustrated, I thought. I didn't even want to say a word to her, even in my dream.
She passed me a bottle of water. I didn't want to take it, and then the whole scene shattered like a piece of glass, and the scene changed to the moment of the car accident.
I couldn't see the face of the person who saved me. I could only see the birthmark on her arm. She comforted me and said I would be at the hospital soon, so I must not fall asleep. But I felt it wouldn't be a big deal if I went back to sleep. My life wouldn't get any worse anyway.
