I looked at Declan in shock and stammered nervously, "How... how did you..."
"Baron gave me permission to follow you to the Icefield Pack and asked me to protect you." Declan looked at me with determination.
I was touched.
"The Alpha cares about you." Katy looked at me and said, "But he's not good with words. You should forgive him."
I had mixed feelings. Before I could say anything, I felt Terrance approaching.
"Why is he here?!"
Sure enough, Terrance was furious when he saw Declan.
"Terrance, don't be nervous. Baron arranged this. He was afraid that I would be in danger, so he asked Declan to come with us." I was afraid that Terrance would hurt Declan, so I hugged him nervously and separated the two of them.
Terrance's expression turned very ugly. After giving Declan a warning look, he looked at me and said discontentedly, "Baron should mind his arrangements. I can protect my mate myself. I don't need help."
