Nicolas pretended to finally get that zipper unhooked and flung himself out of the burning jacket, he wanted to stomp the sleeve but the police officers beat him to it, almost jumping on the flames until it was nothing but a smouldering mess.
"Holy shit! Thank you officers! What a warm welcome to England" he said brushing over his red skinned arm.
"You okay sir?" One asked.
"Yes, yes thank you"
One officer turned to where the bike should be but saw it gone "Hey! Where did that woman go!?" He yelled.
Nicolas shrugged "The chick on the Harley?"
"Yes!?"
"Think she drove off"
The officer grabbed his radio "All call signs, a woman just left the fairy on a large black Harley Davidson motorcycle! Black pan helmet with a mask and sunglasses! Black leather jacket with jeans and black combat boots! She was halted at the disembark but left without clearance!"
Nicolas sighed, that cop summed her up pretty well in that short time he had to look at her, then again the oinker was probably a perv, at that moment in time who would care if she's a wolf right? She really did have a rocking body, who wouldn't look?
He shrugged, she's got a powerful bike under that tight ass, she should learn to use that, it worked for her two years now right?
He opened his door and hopped in.
"Are you sure you're okay sir?" Another officer asked.
"Yeah I'm fine, why do you want the woman?"
"We suspect she's the werewolf"
He pretended to be shocked "What!? You're saying half a million bucks stood right in front of me!? I'm joining this search!"
"No sir! She's dangerous and I suggest you let us handle it"
He sighed "You're right, I'll be sure to call it in if I see her again"
The officer nodded "Drive safely"

Belladonna managed to exchange the money she got into pounds and couldn't help stop at a liquor store to buy herself two rewarding bottles of Vodka, she whistled a tune walking back to the bike and climbed on.
So far the disguise was working for her in England, no one paid her any mind.
As she pulled out of the parking into the street she looked in her mirror, a police car just turned into the street two stops down and she saw the blue lights ignite, then soon after the wails of the sirens pierced the sky.
"Fuck!" She said punching the throttle, for one day! Just one day can she go without being chased!?
She shot over a red light barely hitting crossing traffic, the cars were hard on anchors blasting their horns, it managed to halt the pursuing officer enough so she could dart down a different street out of sight.
It was one thing being chased by the police, that way was still fine, but as soon as everyone in town knew she's there it will turn into fucking open season! Five hundred thousand dollars sat fucking hammered to her head, a million if she's caught alive, it was absolutely brain grindingly frustrating!
She raced out of town into what seemed like rural area, she breathed lighter but knew she's still spotted, knew its only a matter of time before another patrol car sees her.
Ahead she saw a low bridge and brought the bike in slower, climbed the sidewalk and rolled the road-going-bike down the riverbank, losing control and falling.
She got up and quickly pushed it in under the bridge, now she needed to change her appearance again, the bag came off the same time her helmet got chucked one side.
Bella then grabbed a beanie and tugged it over her head, out came a can of spray paint and she quickly sprayed her brown back pack pitch black.
Then she shoved that back in with her black leather jacket and took out a brown one.
Back pack up she ran out the bridge on the other side and into the brush just in time as the screech of tires brought the wails of sirens to a stop right there on the bridge.
She dove into a bush and remained quiet, listening.
"Check under the bridge!" One officer called.
She felt chills down her spine, these policemen were not easy to fool it seems.
"Got it! The bike is under here!"
"Dammit! Call in the K9 she's on foot!"
Belladonna groaned getting up and running again, not the dogs again!
She kept running keeping the stream in view, there was one way to outsmart a canine and that was to keep in the water as much as she could.
Deciding around a bend its out of the bridge view she ran down the bank again and splashed through the knee deep water.
At some places it was more shallow which allowed her to pick up pace but she slipped on a smooth stone and dove into the rocks.
She laid there, held her nose which took a direct rock, she saw the blood being washed away by the water and started crying, it was so unfair, she hated this! Where on earth could she fucking go were no one will chase her!?
She got up and stumbled out of the stream but falling, feeling the pain in her ankle, she must have sprained it.
With effort she was on foot again, limping as fast as she could, contrary to popular belief werewolves do not heal as quick as the books say, quicker than normal, but she was nowhere near invincible.
Through the trees she saw a road and first stopped before she crossed, hiding behind a tree she scanned up and down.
No cops, but a familiar black pickup came cruising calmly down the street, he saw her, she saw him, she ducked slightly and they held eye contact as he passed her.
Bella heard him lift off the gas but no brake lights lit up, she knew he wouldn't stop, she put one plus one together and figured her fellow drifter must have robbed a bank, he said he was running, and he had loads of cash...
She watched him still for a few seconds but the distant bark of dogs made her scan the road again then crossed it as quick as her limp allowed.
As she crashed into the brush of the woods again she heard the shrieks of brakes, then the whine of a reversing gearbox.
She stopped to see him come back so she returned to the road quickly. With his window open he wove "Jump in!"
She felt a massive load lift off her when she fell against the truck and tucked the door open.
She slammed it closed breathing heavily "Go, they have dogs!"
Nicolas drove off calmly and she looked back, then at him "Hey! Faster!"
"Madam... Don't you think I know how to get away from the cops? Sometimes doing it too fast might get you busted just as quick"
She bent over and grabbed her ankle, then wiped her nose with a backhand, sniffing at the blood.
"How on earth did that happen? You're wet, you're bleeding and limping like an old lady?"
"I tripped in a stream, face first into a bloody rock!" She said sniffing more, but those were more sobs than attempts to bring back the blood.
"Hey..." He said touching her shoulder.
"Lemme go" she said tugging away.
"Hey I just helped you, even though I didn't want to!?"
"It doesn't matter! You humans are all evil! Evil! You want nothing than to hang my head up your fucking fireplace like some trophy! I hate all of you!"
